Low Sensory Event

Join KidsQuest Children’s Museum as we host a special Low Sensory Event. KidsQuest is joining with local community partners to put on a special event especially designed for children with autism and/or Sensory Processing Disorder, but open to children with any type of special need and their families. Parents will have the opportunity to talk with professionals as children engage in play specifically designed for their needs. Free coffee provided by Starbucks.
Pre-registration required. Tickets are limited to keep noise levels low.
Super Science Night

KidsQuest Children’s Museum is hosting an evening of super science fun for the whole family! Explore robots with Newport High Schools robotic team, get serious about circuity, and get mixing with molecular gastronomy.
Halloween Spooktacular: Potions, Poisons, and Pumpkins
Sunday, October 27, 10:00am-5:00pm
Join us for a magical day of mixology as we create potions that bubble, swirl, and change color. Identify poisonous and non-poisonous plants and animals, make your own pumpkin play dough to take home, and finish the day shopping in the Mysterious Mercantile for pumpkin parts. Help us create melted masterpieces and then make your own daring drawing device. All child tickets include a punch card for activities, sweet treats, and pizza. Adult tickets include museum admission only.
Low Sensory Evenings
Wednesday, December 4, 5:30-7:30pm
Low Sensory Evenings are a special time just for kids with sensory sensitivities to visit the museum. We’re limiting attendance and turning down the ambient noise and light to provide an even more inviting place to explore, play, and learn. These evenings are especially appropriate for children with autism and/or Sensory Processing Disorder, but Low Sensory Evenings are open to children with any type of special need and their families.
Free. Pre-registration required. Tickets are limited to keep noise levels low.
Dinner and Dancing: City Opera Ballet
Saturday, December 7, 5:45-8:00pm
Experience the magic and joy of ballet as City Opera Ballet performs The Nutcracker live! Enjoy dinner and participate in a dance workshop, plus end the night by playing in the museum with the performers!

New Years at KidsQuest

Join us for an all-day New Year’s Celebration at KidsQuest!! Activities happening every hour including a special New Year’s Eve Story Time, Bubble Wrap Stomp, New Year’s Hats, face painting and more.
