Low Sensory Opportunities
Free Low Sensory Afternoons
Every Third Thursday
3pm-5pm
Designed for individuals or families with sensory sensitivities.
Visiting the Museum
Low sensory bags are also available at the front desk, and may be checked out at any time during a visit to KidsQuest. They are filled with fidget toys, headphones, sunglasses, and a Low Sensory Storybook introducing your child to the museum.
Learning at home
Creating an at-home sensory space and sensory tools that resemble the supports students received in school can help kids during this transition, easing them out of a meltdown or giving them a much-needed break before one starts. Check out more sensory tips from the experts.
