We all have made big shifts to this new world of remote learning with virtual classes and new online platforms. This shift has been hard and many are still struggling to keep up. In working with community partners, KidsQuest learned that physical materials were needed for families considered most vulnerable, to help support their learning while at home.
The Museum curated 600 Art/Science and Music/Movement/Math resource kits to support the hands-on engagement that is so important to all children! These kits were delivered to our community partners and passed out to families around Bellevue.
KidsQuest has always held fast to the idea that children already know how to play and naturally want to learn. With these kits, children are given open-ended materials to allow for on-going and repeated play which is imperative to their growth and development.
