KidsQuest Field Trips

KidsQuest Children’s Museum is an educational and fun experience for schools and educational or non-profit organizations. Multidisciplinary activities and programs encourage students of all abilities and learning styles, and exhibit areas are aligned with Washington State EALRS. Students will enjoy hours of delight and discovery as they explore the exhibits together and participate in guided activities. Self-Guided Exploration

Ages: Pre-K to 4th Grade
Schedule a self-guided visit to explore KidsQuest Children's Museum at your own pace. Students learn and discover as they interact with hands-on, developmentally appropriate exhibits.
Cost: $5 per student
Length: 1.5 hours
Group Size: Minimum 10 students. One adult required (free) for every 5 students.

Science in Action

Ages: 1st to 4th Grade
Students conduct a physical, chemical, biological or earth science experiment and engage in hands-on Museum exploration! 
Cost: $7 per student
Length: 2 hours
Group Size: Minimum 10 students. One adult required (free) for every 5 students.

Scheduling your Field Trip

Field trips to the Museum can be scheduled year-round Tuesday through Friday and on Mondays in July and August. A minimum of ten children is required for the Field Trip rates.

Chaperones

One adult chaperone is required for every five children and there is no admission charge. Any additional chaperones over the 1:5 ratio will be charged the $5 field trip rate when accounted for during the reservation process. Additional chaperones that were not accounted for in the reservation will be charged the group admission rate of $1 off the general admission price. Reservations and Payment

To schedule your visit, please contact KidsQuest Children's Museum at 425-637-8100. Field trips must be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to make a reservation and the balance is due on the day of your visit. Museum memberships, PRIME Cards, passes, and coupons are not valid for field trips.

Changes to your reservation attendance must be made at least 4 days prior to your field trip date. Any participates over the reservation numbers will be charged the group admission rate of $1 off the general admission price. There are no refunds for guests who do not attend the field trip but were accounted for in the reservation.

Limited funding is available for students who may not be able to afford the field trip admission fee. Please call for more information or download an application. All scholarship applications are reviewed once a month. Please wait 4-5 weeks before checking on a scholarship status.

Planning Tips

  • Schedule your trip as early as possible to ensure your date is available.
  • Provide adjusted reservation numbers to KidsQuest at least 4 days prior to your Field Trip to receive the field trip rate.
  • Provide name tags for all children, teachers and chaperones.
  • Remember, KidsQuest Children's Museum does not allow food or drinks in the Museum.

The ExploreStore

The ExploreStore is filled with fascinating toys, books, and kits that reinforce the concepts in our exhibits. Students are welcome to shop, and must be supervised by an adult. For information about pre-ordering souvenirs for students, please call us.
