Staff Stays Safe During Go Healthy Month

It's that time of year again...

CPR2Last week, KidsQuest’s floor staff completed their CPR training for the year. Almost all of our Visitor Experience team is now certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED for infants, children, and adults.

Safety is always a priority for our employees. We focus each day on keeping the museum clean and safe for all of our visitors, children and adults. Monitoring exhibit space, removing small objects, and keeping the floor free of clutter are just some of the steps we take each day to prevent accidents, injuries, and choking emergencies. Offering CPR training to our staff is another way for us to be prepared and ensure the safety of everyone who utilizes the museum.

Hopefully we will never have to employ the skills learned during last week’s class, but we all feel more comfortable knowing the proper procedures for handling unforeseen situations.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED, we recommend contacting the American Red Cross.
