National Volunteer Appreciation Week!
April 18-24th

No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others.
As the Volunteer Coordinator, one of the most important parts of my job is slowing down to say two simple words: "Thank You!" Appreciation of volunteers is a struggle for most non-profit organizations; we always want to give back more but simply don't have the means. My excitement is building for our third annual Volunteer Appreciation Party next Tuesday, April 20th; we play games, eat food, and win prizes! All of this is followed by my favorite part, Pie Your Boss (that's me in the middle covered in cream)!!
KidsQuest Children's Museum's Volunteer Program is a really fun environment where we encourage personal expression and creativity. It's a great place to volunteer!
If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering with KidsQuest Children's Museum, please contact me, download an application, or click here to find out more about volunteering. But HURRY, there are only 3 volunteer orientations left until the fall! (No new volunteers will be accepted in June, July or August)

Volunteers continue to be a vital part of our organization! From helping a child create art at the craft table, to mailing our membership cards, volunteers affect all levels of operations at KidsQuest Children's Museum.
With big events like our Valentine's Party, Egg Hunt, upcoming Carnival fundraiser and Summer Camps, it is obvious to the staff how valuable our team of volunteers is. Such programs and events would not be as successful without the help of our volunteers. The presence of our volunteers affects every visitor's experience during daily visits as well as special events. As the Volunteer Coordinator, one of the most important parts of my job is slowing down to say two simple words: "Thank You!"
