I Heart Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day gets a lot of flack for being a holiday invented by greeting card companies, but you don’t have to purchase a card (or chocolates, or flowers) to make Valentine’s Day special for your kids.

On Monday KidsQuest celebrated Valentine’s Day by throwing a party for our members. Kids made homemade cards for their families, decorated sugar cookies, and got crafty with shaving cream art. All of these activities are easy, fun things you can do at home to make Valentine’s Day special (without breaking the bank).

There are only so many days in the year where you can shower the people you love with homemade cards, delicious baked goods, and do-it-yourself artwork, so why not enjoy it while it lasts? (Plus, it’s always nice to have an excuse to wear pink!)

Happy Valentine’s Day from KidsQuest!
