This Sunday KidsQuest Children's Museum celebrated its 5th birthday with $5 admission all day and a special members-only party from 10am-Noon. Members had a blast making birthday crowns, playing Pin the Candle on the Cake and decorating our five tier paper birthday cake (come by the museum to check out the results in person—it's on the front desk)!

Also on display was KidsQuest's Memory Wall, complete with wonderful memories from the Museum's first five years. One of our favorites was Alexis's story about how much her twins love the working locks system in Waterways. When the family took a trip to the Ballard Locks the twins instantly caught on, and even remembered their visit the next time they were at KidsQuest! As part of a special Memory Wall giveaway, Alexis's family won a free membership. You can check out more Memory Wall stories in the Museum's craft area.

As an added birthday bonus, all members who pre-registered for the event were entered to win free ice skating passes at the Group Health Ice Arena in downtown Bellevue. Eight lucky families won passes! We'll do more of these giveaways at future member events, so make sure you register ahead of time to be entered to win!
