Fathers: The Work-Life Balance

The KidsQuest staff came in Monday morning to find a wonderful email in our in-boxes. A father had visited the Museum and took the time to let us know how much he appreciated our support and encouragement of the father’s role in their children’s life.
I recently took my son and his friend to KidsQuest. While using the restroom, I noticed a baby diaper changing station in the men's room, as well as a toddler seat in the stall.
Thank you for remembering that fathers are (and should be) involved as parents from start to finish, and facilitating our involvement in those ways, just as we facilitate mother's involvement.

The struggle with a work-life balance has been a hot topic in the past few years and it seems that it has died down slightly as both moms and dads recognize that many fathers are trying to be more involved with their children. KidsQuest staff love walking around the Museum and finding dads and granddads playing with their children and having just as much fun as the kids are.
Do you have any suggestions on what more we could do to better facilitate father/child interactions at KidsQuest?
